TOP Oss falls short against Jong PSV and Helmond Sport

After a surprisingly strong start to the season, TOP Oss suffered its second consecutive defeat last Friday. Jong PSV proved too strong in the Frans Heesen Stadium, winning 0-3. On Monday evening, another setback followed: Helmond Sport beat Sjors Ultee's team 1-0.

Against Jong PSV, TOP was already trailing 0-2 within six minutes. Later, they improved somewhat, but it wasn’t enough to get a result.

Three days later, TOP Oss faced another challenge. In the derby against league leaders Helmond Sport, the red and white formation held out for a long time, but conceded the 1-0 in injury time. This result now places TOP in 13th in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Since this season, JDH has been the kit sponsor of TOP Oss. For this reason, we are closely following the performances of the Brabant professional club. Next Sunday, TOP will host mid-table FC Eindhoven.

Joppe Wolbert leads Den Bosch to victory

The men's team of HC Den Bosch started the season on the right foot. At the Oosterplas, they defeated Pinoké 2-1, with JDH player Joppe Wolbert scoring the winning goal.

After a goalless first half, the 0-1 came just one minute into the second half. Following an equalizer, Den Bosch pushed hard for the win. Seven minutes before time, Joppe Wolbert scored the 2-1 after a deflected penalty corner variant.

Next Thursday, Den Bosch will face newly promoted Nijmegen; on Sunday, they will meet SCHC, another newcomer in the Hoofdklasse.

HGC loses, Hurley wins

The Hoofdklasse women's league also kicked off this weekend. One of the standout matches was between playoff contenders Pinoké and HGC. The home team came out on top with a 2-1 victory.

JDH player Isis van Loon were in action yesterday. She is aiming to help their club take the final step towards the top 4 this season. For now, the Gazelles will have to wait for their first points of the season.

A day earlier, Hurley visited newly promoted Huizen. It was a narrow victory for Hurley, led by Marente Barentsen and Cis van der Salm, with a final score of 0-1.
