First Goal for Jan van 't Land; Bloemendaal Still Undefeated
Jan van 't Land has scored his first goal for Bloemendaal. The young JDH player made it 1-3 during the match against Oranje-Rood. The team from Eindhoven managed to score once more, but the points went back to North Holland. Jasper Brinkman was also active in this match.
Van 't Land joined from the relegated HGC last summer. It is clear that he is starting to find his rhythm at his new club. Against Oranje-Rood, Van 't Land received the ball at the edge of the circle, skillfully turned away from his direct opponent, and then confidently struck the ball in with his reverse stick.
With Sunday’s victory, Bloemendaal remains undefeated after seven rounds. This coming Saturday, the Mussen will visit league leaders Den Bosch. That team has one point more than Bloemendaal but has also played one more match.
Sorsby and Wolbert Still Leading with Den Bosch
The men of HC Den Bosch remain proudly at the top of the Tulp Hoofklasse after round 8. Last Sunday, they easily defeated the low-flying Hurley 1-4. JDH stars Tom Sorsby and Joppe Wolbert played for Den Bosch.
In Amsterdam’s Bos, Den Bosch faced little challenge from Hurley. In the first half, the Bosschenaren quickly extended their lead to 0-2. First, Timo Boers converted a penalty corner, followed by Joppe Wolbert doubling the score after a beautiful rush along the backline.
In the second half, Koen Bijen and once again Timo Boers found the net, allowing Den Bosch to approach the upcoming top match against Bloemendaal with great confidence. The duel at Oosterplas will kick off at 18:45.

Important Victory for TOP Oss Against Jong AZ Alkmaar
For the first time since late November, TOP Oss has secured a victory. In their own Frans Heesen Stadium, the Ossenaren were 2-1 stronger than Jong AZ Alkmaar. At halftime, TOP was facing a 0-1 deficit.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the winning goal by Tijmen Wildeboer in the 83rd minute. He expertly judged a long ball and, with a brilliant volley, provided relief for the Ossenaren. Just over twenty minutes earlier, Norwegian striker Abel Stensrud had equalized. This victory ended a streak of eight matches without a win.
TOP Oss is still in sixteenth place in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie but has reconnected with the mid-table teams. Tonight at 21:00, they have a cup match against De Graafschap, and next Saturday, coach Sjors Ultee's team will visit Vitesse.
