Unleash your power!

Joppe Wolbert and Den Bosch still undefeated
The men of HC Den Bosch remain undefeated after six matchdays. Last Saturday, JDH player Joppe Wolbert’s team secured an impressive win against vice-champion Rotterdam. In the harbor city, Den Bosch triumphed in a spectacular match, winning 3-4, leaving the Brabant team firmly at the top of the table with 18 points.

While Wolbert had to settle for a supporting role last season, the young player is now a key figure in Den Bosch’s defense. Remarkably, he was previously used primarily as a forward. In short, these are good times for both Den Bosch and Wolbert himself.

Racing Bruxelles defeated by Gantoise

Racing Bruxelles is far from reaching its full potential this season. The 2022 Belgian champions, featuring JDH players Augustien Meurmans and Oscar Berton, lost 2-3 to Gantoise last Sunday and are now positioned in the middle of the table.

After finishing sixth last year, the team from the capital hoped for an improvement this season. However, with only two victories and already three defeats, that seems unlikely so far. This Sunday, Racing will face low-ranked Beerschot at home—a great opportunity to regain momentum.

Hurley beats HGC in a JDH-packed clash

Hurley secured all three points last Sunday in a match against HGC. The game, played at De Roggewoning, ended 1-2, with all goals scored before halftime. A total of three JDH players participated in this match.

Cis van der Salm and Marente Barentsen represented the victorious visitors, while Isis van Loon netted the only goal for the home team with a backhand shot. With this victory in Wassenaar, Hurley now sits in fifth place in the Tulp Hoofdklasse, while HGC is left in a disappointing ninth position.
